Product overview
Lithium Bromide is a highly water-soluble, hygroscopic inorganic bromide supplied by Kranti Chemicals as crystalline powder or granules. Its strong affinity for water makes a concentrated aqueous lithium bromide solution the standard absorbent in lithium-bromide/water absorption chillers, widely used for large-building and industrial air conditioning.
The same hygroscopic property is used in industrial dehumidification systems, and solid LiBr is also used as a reagent in organic synthesis.
Applications
